Oil Marketing Program for CIPA Members in Partnership with Pinnacle Petroleum

The Independent Producers Exchange (IPEX), a wholly owned subsidiary of CIPA, has launched a new oil marketing program in collaboration with Pinnacle Petroleum to support independent producers affected by the closure of the Phillips 66 and Valero refineries.

Supporting Small Producers

With fewer refineries willing to contract with producers delivering under 100 barrels per day, IPEX is providing a critical solution. Through its long-standing marketing agreement, IPEX enables small producers to combine their barrels into a single cooperative contract — making their production volumes more attractive to refiners and helping secure better pricing.

There is no minimum volume requirement to participate, and non-CIPA members are welcome to inquire about joining the program.

In partnership with IPEX, Pinnacle Petroleum will:

  • Manage crude oil marketing on behalf of participating producers
  • Coordinate all logistics
  • Prepare required accounting documentation

Producers interested in participating should contact:
