CIPA Committees

CIPA has several standing committees to study, review, and make recommendations about specific issues.  Committee chairs and members are volunteers who offer their experience and expertise for the collective benefit of the association.

Bonding

Explores solutions for operators subject to CalGEM’s indemnity bond requirements related to liabilities for plugging and abandonment of oil and gas operations.

CIPAC

Provides direction and support for CIPA’s Political Action Committees in order to elect pro-industry legislators and defeat adverse ballot measures.

Provides analysis and advice on income tax and economic policy proposals and decisions affecting members.

Executive Advisory

Comprised of past Chairmen and Presidents of CIPA to advise on ad hoc association issues.

Forum for exploring ways industry can use the courts to protect their assets and ability to do business in California.
